Best Things to Do in Sigiriya Culture, Wildlife & History

We really enjoyed this tour. Prasad, our guide, and the driver were both excellent. They picked us up directly from our hotel, and we started with the night walk at Popham's Arboretum. If your tour does not include the entrance tickets for the arboretum, remember to bring 3,500 LKR per person to pay at the entrance. Please note that US dollars are not accepted, so make sure you have Sri Lankan rupees in cash. We were lucky enough to spot two Sri Lankan lorises, along with many other animals. After that, we continued with the night jeep safari. Seeing the fireflies was magical. We also saw a fishing cat, a rabbit, several birds, a dragon lizard, and deer. We were also given a complimentary bottle of water each, which was a nice touch. We had a wonderful experience. Thank you very much!

vriendelijke chauffeur, goeie uitleg. Het waren goeie spotters. Loris hebben we van veraf gezien (Hun oogjes die weerkaatsten met de rode zaklampen). De chauffeurs brengen je eerst tot bij de nachtwandeling. Daar kregen we een andere gids die ons mee nam op wandeling. Onze chauffeurs gingen wel mee op stap en hielpen mee spotten. Daarna reden we langs de olifantenbaan om wat olifanten langs de weg te zien, wij zagen er 3.

One of the best days of our Sri Lanka trip! Every part of the tour was thoughtfully planned, so we could simply relax and enjoy the experience. Watching elephants in their natural habitat and exploring the beauty of Sigiriya created memories we'll never forget. Everything ran smoothly, and the team made sure we had an incredible day from beginning to end. Definitely worth it!

Visiting Sigiriya and the Minneriya Safari with them was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka.
